Calcium and water

    • 1 to 2 cups of 1% fat or skim milk per day
    • 2 quarts of water per day
    • Eliminate sugary sodas, juices, and energy drinks

Calcium
There is some evidence that milk or a calcium rich substitute may aid the metabolism.

Water
Water helps the stomach feel full and keeps the body flushed and skin soft. 2 quarts of water is what is recommended. Water aids with digestion, improves the complexion, and helps you feel full.

Sodas and Sugary Drinks
Sodas are highly acidic and should be minimized.

Fully loaded, sugary sodas must be eliminated as well as sugary juices and energy drinks. Getting your calories from drinks is not a very good option.

Cheese
Cheese is fine, but actively minimize the fat content just as with milk – choose low fat cheese. Other dairy products like yogurt, cream, and half and half should be low fat or fat free as well in order to reduce calories.

Fat & calories in milk
Actively minimize fat. 3 glasses of 1% milk adds a little more than 7 grams of fat per day which is acceptable. Go the extra mile and get adjusted to skim milk. Whole milk & 2% milk simply add too much fat to the diet. A lean body is the result of a lean diet.
